How to get gorgeous feet!

Since we're finally seeing some sun now here in England (FINALLY), I thought it was about time I got back into my routine for my feet (yes, they need love too). I actually put on some flip-flops and was horrified at the state of my poor neglected feet! So here's my fool-proof way to sort out my feet for summer:
I start with dry skin before my shower, and use the much-talked-about 'Ped Egg' to 'grate' off (nasty I know) all the dead and dry skin from my heels and the soles of my feet. This is one of those processes that is incredibly gross but also extremely satisfying to see all the dead skin turned into powder!  After my shower, I put on a thick layer of Soap and Glory's 'Heel Genius' all over my feet before popping on some cotton socks to make sure the moisture gets locked in. It's an incredibly moisturising formula that smells kind of minty. I repeat this whole process the day after and it never fails to give me super smooth feet! I haven't included any pictures of my feet in this post, since so many people get so grossed out by feet (however beautified they are!), but for polishes, I would recommend MUA's new collection, which is full of gorgeous pastel springtime colours, for only a pound each! (I particularly like pistachio ice-cream).

Have you got any tips and tricks for smooth flip-flop worthy feet?

  2. This is the perfect post for me. I've completely neglected my feet during this horrible weather we've been having, need to get ready for sandal weather (if it ever truly arrives!) I've heard lots of good things about the Ped Egg so I will definitely be picking one up.

    1. I guess you could yes! Although it's quite a sticky formula, so I'd probably recommend a Body Shop Body Butter for that kind of thing :) XX
