Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a lovely time wherever you were celebrating! I was in Copenhagen for a couple of wonderful days with my boyfriends family. Recently I've been testing a BB Cream from Ginvera, a skincare company set up in Asia. Their Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream* is meant to conceal blemishes, protect from the sun with SPF 30 and moisturise and nourish the skin. At £18 for 25ml or £26 for 40ml it's certainly up in the high end of the market. It's amazing the range of coverages different BB Creams can offer, all under the same name 'BB Cream'. This one offers a very high coverage for what is not technically a foundation. It applies beautifully, with a velvety matte finish, and covers redness easily. My skin looks healthier, but not caked in make up, just the effect you want from a BB Cream. The colour looked dark on my hand, but when blended out suited my pale skin perfectly! Throughout the day, my skin became very oily, and I needed to blot my face, but this wouldn't be a problem for those with drier skins than mine (mine is particularly oily). Other than that it lasts well though a full day and generally feels lovely on the skin - very light and healthy. My sensitive skin didn't suffer any negative affects after wearing this BB Cream, and I put that down to the lovely skin loving ingredients Ginvera have included. This BB Cream can't replace my beloved Clinique CC Cream, but it's a pretty close contender.
