I've never felt so festive so early! Happy Advent Everyone! I can't wait to go home from uni in a couple of weeks and sit by the fire with some mulled wine :) I'm also hoping for a new fancy camera for Christmas, so be braced for a barrage of posts in the new year with beautiful photos! On to my favourites for this month:
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation - I'm sure you've heard so much about this foundation so I won't say much! It's a full coverage creamy foundation which leaves a glowing (but not dewy) finish. With no SPF I've found this perfect for nights when you know you're going to be photographed. I'm the shade Cream Ivory.
Clinique Super Primer for Redness - My tube of this miracle product is nearly finished, and I will absolutely be repurchasing. It's an oil free primer specifically targeted to correct redness in the skin (they do primers for other concerns too - sallowness, dullness, discolorations). It makes my makeup stay fresh looking for longer, and mattifies the skin immediately.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - This cult product is a winter lifesaver. It can be used on chapped lips, dry patches of skin, cuticles and even for taming unruly brows. This has been a handbag essential over the last month.
Joop Miss Wild Perfume - I've found myself gravitating towards this scent alot during November. I'm so bad at describing scents, so here's what Joop say about it: "A floral-Oriental. The sizzling spicy pink berries in the top and a feminine and sensual heart note of vanilla. The sexy and addictive rum accord in the base is a wink to the masculine perfume, symbolizing the secret connexion between them." Basically, it smells yummy.
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Shade 9 - During winter I need a more hydrating lipstick, and YSL's Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks offer that in the most gorgeous little tubes of luxuriousness! Shade 9, 'nude in private' is just a little darker than my natural lip shade, and makes my lips look healthy and soft.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Bronzing Glow Powder - I've got the darker shade of the two available ('At Goldcombe Bay'), but it's the perfect shade for my light skin. I've been using this to warm up my foundation, and it gives the most lovely and natural glow to the skin. The powder has got a very very subtle shimmer and very finely milled so it blends really easily. It's the first product I've tried from this brand, and I'm incredibly impressed.
