B-qubed Table

I was recently contacted by Room to Grow, a company with a really sleek website who sell some really awesome bits of furniture. Websites like this make me so excited for when I get my own place and make it mine! For the moment I'm flitting between my tiny home bedroom, and my uni room, which I why the photos in this blog post were taken outside (the only place I had room, sorry!) Room to Grow asked me to review their B-qubed with table top* table, which is basically a cute little beanbag table with a plastic molded table top. It comes in a range of colours so it can suit any colour scheme, and you've got to admit, it looks pretty cool!

The holes in the beanbag are for storing things - you could use this as a tv footrest and keep all you remotes pushed inside - a neat little design! The table top comes off, so you can also use it as a seat. The thing I like the most about this table is how multifunctional this little thing is. The uses for this are endless - a make-up table with your brushes stored in the middle, a coffee table, a kid's toy table, an outside table for bbq food and drinks, a little seat at a crowded party... the list goes on. I've given my table to my boyfriend who is using it in his home music studio!

The size is perfect for a smaller table, or perch - I actually like the idea of having a few of them dotted around a room. It's also really light to move around. The only negative I can find with this table is the stability. When the lid is on, it can be easily unbalanced by placing a coffee cup too close to the edge, which makes me wary of using this for drinks. However, I think it's a nifty piece of furniture and would recommend it for someone looking for something a bit quirky!

  3. Wow I don't think I've ever seen something quite like that before! Cute table - I think if I had one I'd use it as a footrest or a little living room holder for clickers and things :) - cool design!

  6. That's quite funky! I don't think I'd put anything precious/fragile on it--my first thought was about stability, and then you mentioned that, too--but in a contemporary/modern house is would look fab! Actually, really useful for a studio apartment, now that I think about it!
