A Spring Tan | Lavera Self-Tanning Body Lotion

Lavera offer natural cosmetics, skincare and perfume and have great commitments to organic agriculture and are completely cruelty free (It goes without saying that I love the brand already). The Lavera Self-Tanning Body Lotion is a gradual tanner that develops over about five hours to give a very natural tan. With one application, my skin was a subtle glowing brown, with absolutely no streaks, as if I'd spent a couple of days sunbathing. The results of this lotion are the most natural I've managed with any self-tanner, so I think this is perfect for the self-tanner beginner, or when you want that first subtle tan in spring time. The product itself comes in a lovely chunky tube and is easy to dispense. It has quite a strong scent, but not one that I mind, and can be applied with you hands like a normal body lotion (as long as you wash you hands afterwards!). It's a white cream, so you don't have a guide as to where you've applied the product, but this didn't seem to be a problem, as I wasn't left with any darker patches or streaks. The Lavera Self-Tanning Body Lotion is currently selling with a free 50ml face cream here.

  2. This sounds pretty good, I've never used a proper fake tan, I always just use the body lotion types, but the streaks have put me off! May have to give this a go :)

  5. I used this once and it's super great! If you exfoliate in the shower before and just rub some cream all over the day after it lasts a little better and is easy to build up!
